The Garmin Vivosmart HR+ (VS HR+) is the perfect fitness watch because it measures GPS, Heart Rate, steps, Intensity Minutes, floors, and pace. The purpose of this post is to explain workarounds for things that the Vivosmart HR+ does less than perfectly.
Sleeping During the Day
- Problem: You sleep at night but Garmin shows you sleeping in the daytime. Your sleep pattern for such a day may show you with, say, 3 hours of “light” sleep and 7 hours of “awake” sleep.
- Solution: There is no known solution for this problem. Typically your Garmin watch will revert to your normal sleep hours on the following night. You will get just the one night of bizarre sleep patterns.
- Conclusion: Even if your VS HR+ shows an unusual sleep pattern for one night (or afternoon and evening as in the snip above), your watch is likely to correct itself the following night.
